Luxury Japan Travel's six published tours run from $18,500 to $21,500 per person, all-inclusive. A Custom Tour of Japan is priced per person, per day, from a published floor that varies by party size. An Expert Japan Itinerary is $550 or $825. Every figure below is stated whole, with what it includes and what it never includes.

The six published tours
Luxury Japan Travel publishes six tours, each for a group that never exceeds eight, with a Tour Director present from the first morning to the last. The Classic Cherry Blossom Tour of Japan, twelve days in the 2027 season, is $19,500 per person. The Cherry Blossom Tour of Hokkaidō, thirteen days, is $18,500. The Summer Tour of Hokkaidō, twelve days, is $18,500. The Autumn Leaves Tour of Japan 2026, twelve days, is $19,500 per person; this departure is sold out, and no 2027 date has yet been decided. The Autumn Leaves Tour of Northern Japan, twelve days, is $19,500 per person; the 2026 departure is sold out and the 2027 departure, 2 to 13 November, is open for general sale. The Wild North Tour of Hokkaidō, eleven days through the island's high summer, is $21,500 per person.
Each price is per person, twin share, and all-inclusive: accommodation in the hotel or ryokan named on the tour's own page, private transport for the length of the tour, a Tour Director throughout, the meals set out on that tour's page, and the named experiences of that itinerary, from a private evening with geiko and maiko to a night in a ryokan's best room. Extensions are priced separately and by the day; Hiroshima and Miyajima, Nara, Lake Akan, Tokyo and Eastern Hokkaidō each add a stated figure to a specific tour, never a percentage or an estimate.

The Custom Tour of Japan
A Custom Tour of Japan is planned, organised and run by Luxury Japan Travel for one party alone, on the party's own dates, for five nights or more. Its price is a floor, per person, per day, because a private vehicle, a driver and a Tour Director cost the same whether two people travel or eight: from $3,500 per person per day for two guests, from $2,750 for three or four guests, and from $2,000 for five or more guests. A $1,500 curation fee opens the design process and is credited in full toward the tour.
Above the floor, the figure is built from what a party chooses: a private vehicle every day, the best ryokan and suites the country keeps, dining at the top of what Japan offers each evening, an evening with geiko and maiko. The proposal that follows a party's discovery call carries the one figure that matters, built for that itinerary alone.

The Expert Japan Itinerary
For a traveller planning their own route who wants Luxury Japan Travel's own planning rather than its Tour Directors on the ground, the Expert Japan Itinerary is a written itinerary, delivered in seven working days: $550 for a journey of ten days or fewer, $825 for eleven to fifteen days, with one revision included and further revisions at $110 each. Fifteen days is the Expert Japan Itinerary's ceiling; a longer journey is a Custom Tour of Japan.

What “all-inclusive” means, and what it never includes
An all-inclusive Luxury Japan Travel price covers every night's accommodation, every day's private transport, a Tour Director throughout, the stated meals, and the named experiences of the itinerary. It never includes international flights to and from Japan. Luxury Japan Travel does not arrange them, and advises on them in full: which route, which timing, which arrival lands a guest rested for the first evening. A traveller's own domestic flights outside the tour's route, travel insurance, and personal spending are their own, stated plainly rather than left to a footnote.

A hotel ladder, in plain words
Three tiers sit inside these prices. At the base is the standard of hotel or ryokan a careful traveller books for themselves: a good room, well placed, competently run. The published tours sit a full tier above that: the best room a named ryokan or hotel keeps, chosen for its onsen, its garden or its kitchen, and named plainly on the tour's own page rather than left to “or similar”. The Custom Tour of Japan can be built at the top of the country entirely: Aman Tokyo, Aman Kyoto, Hoshinoya Kyoto, Six Senses Kyoto, Tawaraya and Hiiragiya among the properties it draws from, with the best room a property has sought first, and its best suite available to a party that wants it. A traveller chooses the tier that matches the journey; the figures above show exactly what each one costs.
