Luxury Japan Travel plans, organises and runs every tour of Japan. Each journey is made with the ryokan and hotels where our guests stay, the kitchens where they dine, and the guides, drivers and makers who show them the country.
We work directly with every property, guide, driver and maker. We do not work through destination management companies, and we do not take proposals from them.
Our guests come to Japan from around the world for its hospitality and craft at their very highest, and they notice the care in every detail. On our published tours, a Tour Director is with them from the first evening to the last.

The standard we keep
We look for partners whose standard is the same on a quiet weekday as on the busiest day of the year: a room ready before the guest arrives, a driver who knows every turn of the road, a guide who reads the people in front of them, and a craftsperson whose work needs no explanation.

How do I propose my property, service or work?
Through the form on this page, and only there. Tell us exactly what you offer, where, for how many guests and on what terms. We read every proposal.
Will you reply?
Each proposal receives one acknowledgement by email. Where your work suits our journeys, we write to you.
Do you work with destination management companies?
No. We work directly with properties, guides, drivers and makers, and we do not work through destination management companies or other operators.
Which regions do you work in?
The whole of Japan, from Hokkaido to Kyushu.
