The work

The intern works inside the marketing team. The day to day is preparing the newsletter, running the social accounts, and selecting the photographs that go with each piece. Every piece is briefed, and read by a senior colleague, before it is published.

What we look for

You need to write clear and correct English, know Japan well enough to write about it accurately, and keep to a publishing schedule. Japanese is useful and not required. The internship is remote.

The work

The guide leads guests through a full day in Kyoto in person, in English and Japanese. The route and the appointments are set before the day begins. The guide's work is to lead the day well, keep to time, look after the guests, and adjust the day when a guest needs something different.

What we look for

You need a thorough knowledge of Kyoto, including its temples, gardens, workshops and neighbourhoods, fluent English and Japanese, and experience guiding guests who expect a high standard. A guide-interpreter licence is an advantage.

The work

The partner represents Luxury Japan Travel in Singapore. The work is building and keeping relationships with the people who advise and arrange travel for discerning clients, introducing them to what we do, and passing each introduction to the team in Kyoto, who plan and run the journey.

What we look for

You need an established professional network in Singapore, experience representing a company of this standard, and the judgement to know which introductions are the right ones. English is essential. Japanese is not required.
