The rooms
There are forty cabins, each for up to three guests, with large windows that frame the lake directly ahead and a terrace living room, fully furnished, that draws the room out into the open air. The design is spare, so that the colours of the forest and the lake fill the room.

The resort has no onsen of its own; it keeps a spa for massage and treatments, and the terraces under the pines are made for sitting out over the lake.

Dining
Dinner is a course of the ingredients and cooking of the Mount Fuji country, served in a dining hall among the red pines, or a hotpot of red wine sukiyaki or shabu-shabu on the cabin's own terrace; a forest kitchen bakes pizza in a stone oven, and breakfast comes to the cabin in a box of fresh bread.

The resort climbs a hillside of red pine above the lake at Oishi, its cabins and terraced decks set in the trees with the lake below and the country of Mount Fuji around.
