The Okura Tokyo
The Okura Tokyo is a hotel in Toranomon, in central Tokyo, of 508 rooms in two buildings, the 41-storey Prestige Tower and the 17-storey Heritage Wing, set in gardens around the Okura Museum of Art. The rooms
Rooms in the Prestige Tower begin on the 28th floor and run to about fifty square metres, with the club rooms from the 37th floor up, where the lounge looks across the city, and the Imperial Suite filling two floors at the top.
The Heritage Wing's rooms are of sixty square metres and eight metres wide, each with a steam sauna and a jetted bath, and its Presidential Suite has a garden of its own and a deep soaking tub.

The pool and the spa
The hotel keeps a heated 25-metre indoor pool, and on the 26th and 27th floors of the tower its spa and gym, with a dry sauna, a steam room, treatment rooms and a gym that looks over the skyline. There is no hot spring at the hotel; the Heritage Wing's rooms keep their own steam sauna and jetted bath.

Dining
The Japanese dining room on the fourth floor of the Heritage Wing keeps a sushi counter and a room for the tea ceremony, and on the 41st floor of the tower teppanyaki is cooked before you with the city beneath. There is classical French cooking with a Japanese accent, a Cantonese dining room set with vases in the manner of the Qing dynasty, an all-day dining room, a lounge over the city, and a main bar that pours champagne by the glass.
the setting
Tokyo
The hotel stands in Toranomon, among embassies and government buildings, on grounds of some 1.3 hectares laid out in gardens: a dry garden of white stones that read as streams, an old ginkgo, and irises on the slopes. Both entrances are aligned on a willow growing on the museum's island.
The gardens and the Okura Museum of Art surround the hotel, and Toranomon Hills and Roppongi are a short walk away.
