Dining

Dinner is taken in the hotel's restaurants: a Western dining room of Hokkaido seafood and Tokachi beef with a sommelier, a Chinese kitchen of the northern sea, and a Japanese room of kettle rice and shabu-shabu of Nanae beef; a bar keeps the night view.

the setting

Hakodate

The hotel stands in the Bay Area of Hakodate, where the red brick warehouses of the old port line the water, and its interiors are dressed in the Taisho romantic manner, with large windows throughout turned to the city and the harbour.

The Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses stand beside the hotel, the morning market and the churches of Motomachi are close by, and the ropeway to the summit of Mount Hakodate is fifteen minutes on foot.
